Nigel ran a wildlife and nature photography workshop at Grove Farm. The workshop was based around the carpet of wood anemones (Anemone nemorosa) that the Friends of Grove Farm have spent the winter clearing of Brambles ready for their flowering season.

The photo shown here is one of Nigel's photographs from the day. It has been estimated by Martin Smith (our local nature expert) that this colony of wood anemones is around 2,000 years old. If you want to see these wild flowers at their best, now is the time.
