Rain, mud and magic light – our latest Grove Farm photography session had it all. A couple of us braved the weather and joined photographer Nigel Bewley to practice our skills, from phone snaps to full camera kits, and turn a wet winter morning into something beautiful.

We played with soft post-rain light for close-ups of mosses and fungi, water shots, and the striking lines of bare winter trees. With just three of us plus Nigel, it felt like a relaxed mini-masterclass out in our favourite North Greenford wild space.
