On a bright and sunny — if rather chilly — first conservation day of spring, a hardworking crew from Friends Of Grove Farm and Goodgym Ealing rolled up their sleeves for some serious woodland TLC.

Armed with mattocks, forks, spades, saws, and plenty of determination, Sevan, Steph, Breda, Shubham, Purva, Kash, Joe, Fred, and Portia tackled a long list of jobs: unblocking ditches to keep paths dry, clearing a fallen tree, and cutting back overgrown vegetation to make Grove Farm’s walkways welcoming again.

It was a proper workout that ended in muddy shoes and a big win for woodland water flow! 💪🌲
