Our dead hedge work continued this weekend with some newly roped in volunteers. They may have had their arms twisted, come from neighbouring boroughs as well as Australia but Loraine, John and Kay (indeed my family) managed to clear 10 meters more of sight lines along the lane. Many thanks to them all for their work.

There are so many points now that you can see straight through to the park, that the effect of opening up the views are becoming apparent. The only issue is that we’ve only managed to reach a third of the way down the lane. We’ll carry on soldiering on.
