After a hard day in the fields finishing off clearing the cuttings (finalised with ice creams) we carried out the second water test of August and found that although there had been heavy rain on the previous Friday we were still not seeing water in Costons Brook or Hogback pond. Thankfully there is still water in our Ephemeral pond. Maybe its not Ephemeral at all. We will have to see what the enlargement project brings and winter. Thanks to Fred, Sue and Martina.
