Last Saturday gave us a lovely calm evening at Grove Farm Local Nature Reserve—but getting there was half the adventure! Despite public transport chaos, five dedicated bat enthusiasts made it out to join us. 🙌

Armed with our Magenta Bat 5 detectors, we picked up both common and soprano pipistrelles, with most of the action happening in the woodland as darkness fell. 🎶🌳 Watching (and hearing!) them flit through the trees was a brilliant reminder of how alive the reserve becomes at night. 🌌
