We are very happy to announce that we’ve been awarded Thriving status by the Britain in bloom judges.  If you recall, we were judged last year to have attained the third level of Advancing.  Specific comments were made about the work by the group to plant a new Hazel coppice and conservation work to help the expansion of the wood anemones on site.  The award therefore belongs to all of our volunteers and the support we are receiving from the parks department in the council.  Next stage is to reach 'outstanding' status which will be quite difficult, but something to aim for.

We have also taken delivery and installed a new noticeboard at the Bedser Drive entrance which we hope will help us communicate more easily with park users.
